A Tired Happy And Cartoon Career Day

Friday my school hosted its first annual cartoon career day. There were about 10 different artists, including Chris Browne (of Hagar the Horrible fame). I talked to him and he looked at some of my work and he really liked it. He's a pretty cool guy, I'd hang out with him. I met Bob Hall from Marvel comics. He was drawing a picture of the Hulk and being anti-social and I told him how my 7-year old nephew loves the Hulk and Marvel superheroes and he gave me the picture to give to him (he autographed it to).

Today (Saturday if you forgot), I spent 2 hours at the Outdoor Campus (a really cool nature preserve in the middle of the city. Let's see who I made friends with today: a really cool squirrel who watched me as he ate and let me take a bunch of pictures of him, a flock of mallards, a waterduck, a baby box turtle, a flock of Canadian Geese, and some nifty little birds. I walked for almost five miles, I'm tired, chilly, hungry, my feet feel huge in these hiking boots, and I'm still really happy.
